Home Remedies For Acne and Scars

1. Neem and Turmeric Powder:
   Make a paste of neem leaves with turmeric powder. Apply on acne area. Leave it for 20-30 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.

2. Nutmeg:
   Grind nutmeg (jaiphal) with unboiled milk and apply on acne. This works very effectivelly on acne. It completly diappears pimples without leaving a mark.

3. Orange Peel:
   Make a paste of orange peel by grinding it with water. Apply it on and around the affected area.

4. Papaya:
   Apply juice of raw papaya (including the skin and seed), it works effectively on swelling pimples.

5. Pomgranate:
   Make a paste of roasted & powdered pomgranate skin with fresh lime juice. It works effectively on boils, pimple, blackheads and whiteheads.

6. Potato:
   Use grated potatoes as poultice. It works effectively on skin blemishes, wrinkles, pimples, boils, blackheads, and whiteheads.

7. Salt and Vinegar:
   Make a paste of salt in vinegar. Rub it on the pimples. Put it for 20-30 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.

8. Sandalwood and Rose Water:
   Make a paste of sandalwood with rose water. Apply it on acne. leave it for 20-30 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.

9. Tomatoes:
   Take the pulp of ripe tomatoes apply it on pimples. Keep it for 1 hour, and then wash off.

10. Turmeric Powder and Mint Juice:
    Make a paste of turmeric powder in mint juice. Apply it on acne. Leave it for 20-30 minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.

11. Wheatgrass:
    Take a juice of wheatgrass, it also helps to cure acne.

12. Treat Scalp Acne:
    1. You can use any of the above remedy to treat scalp acne. OR Dip a cotton ball in a skin cleanser including salicylic acid and apply on the affected area. Do not use products containing benzoil peroxide to treat acne because it may change the color of your hair.
    2. Make a mixture with 4 parts tea tree oil to 1 part lavender oil in olive oil or any other oil and apply it as a shampoo.
    3. Boil a cup of neem leaves in water. Wash your head with this water when it is warm.
