Due to aging, many people are associated with a decline in strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, bone density, and mental function. But exercises can add 2-6 years to your life and help to improve the quality of your life.

Following are some of the types of anti aging exercises, you can go through this for the maximum anti-aging affect:

  • Strength training:

    This exercise can be done 2-3 times per week. You may loose muscle mass gradually after age 30. The benefits of this exercise start to show about 3 weeks and only continue to improve. The strength training exercise makes you stronger and also helps to maintains bone density, prevents falls, and increases metabolism. It helps to control weight.

  • Cardiovascular:

    For this exercise, you can give at least 30 minutes on most days. Research tells us that in 3 months, a 60-year old person could regain the aerobic function of a 40-year old person. If you are already doing it for 30 minutes the try to increase the frequency or duration.

  • Mind/body:

    For mind and body yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilate are very useful exercises. It is helpful for emotional and physical health.

  • Flexibility:

    You should give at least 4 times per week for this exercise. Stretching exercise is an integral part of the exercise prescription for healthy aging. Stretching helps yu for movements also prevents injuries and is beneficial for the aches and pains.

Research shows that if you can exercise regularly for 6 months, you have made a change, which can easily last a lifetime. So if you want to stay motivated to exercise then you can think about the following points.

  • Get an exercise partner.
  • Schedule your exercise.
  • Do exercise you enjoy, vary your routine and add music.
  • Identify your barriers to exercise.
  • Set goals and reward you for achieving them.
  • Consider hiring an exercise professional such as personal trainer.

Like normal exercises, facial exercises are also important. It needs to be done regularly to achieve and get the full benefit from them. The facial exercises are beneficial to all young, adult and mature people to get a smooth, youthful, anti-aging and ageless face and skin.
