Lack of energy is not always the result of the menopause. You can feel exhausted at any age. However, around the age of fifty, some women feel shattered most of the time. You can't just ignore this!. In that case, energetic healing play an important role.

Your lack of energy and tiredness might be caused by a number of things, including a lack of vitamins or trace elements. For example, lack of potassium creates a sensation of muscle fatigue. Speak to your doctor, who will probably prescribe a blood test to check for conditions such as diabetes, thyroid problems or anemia.
Seven tips for overcoming tiredness
If you suddenly feel 'all in', choose the 'therapy' most suited to your situation.
- Go out and walk for 20 minutes at a good pace or go for a bicycle ride.
- Even if you would love a coffee, drink a large glass of water. Always have a bottle of minerals water to hand.
- Open the windows in the room to freshen up the air, close them again, then spray the room with an invigorating scent from an aromatherapy spray (jasmine oil, peppermint or eucalyptus).
- Hop on the spot 50 to 60 times. Oxygen will flow into your bloodstream and give you a boost.
- Go out into the light. If there's no sunshine, turn on all the lights indoors.
- Breathe at least 12 times from the diaphragm.
- Laugh as much as possible. Nothing gives you more energy!
Some Facts
- Tiredness is often due to a lack of oxygen in the blood-stream. To rectify this, breathe, move, go outside.
- Consider yoga. If you do it regularly, it can cause a lasting increase in your energy level.
