Introduction:

Dry facial skin has its direct connection with the looks and beauty, because face is the first visible organ to one who looks at you.   • Sometimes the everyday products such as toothpaste can also dry out the areas around mouth and lips. The heaters and air conditioners also lead to the drying of facial skin.
  • Apart from all these reasons, you can also have dry skin due to hormonal imbalance, genetic conditions or some diseases like diabetes.

Tips to cure dry skin on face:

  • To maintain the required level of moisture of your skin, the first thing is to find out what is the reason to make your skin dry and then take the steps accordingly. Drink sufficient water throughout a day to provide moisture to skin.
  • Avoid smoking and excessive consumption of alcohol. Do not expose your skin to excessive sunlight. Do not expose your skin to the home air conditioners and heaters for a long time of day.
  • Wash your face twice a day, not more or less; to maintain its moisture. Excessive washing of face also makes it dry. Wash the face with cleanser that is free of soap and prepared especially for dry skin.
  • After washing the face, dry it with a towel and apply moisturizing face cream on it when it is little damp. It is recommended to take a suggestion from a dermatologist before buying any skin products.
  • During winter, apply winter cold creams on face and cover the face with a cloth while going out. There are various face packs available in the market to be used mainly for dry skin. These can be a great option to protect your face from drying.
  • When it becomes very difficult for you to protect your skin from drying, you can think for a complete skin treatment from a skin specialist.
