  • Cucumber is known for its calming properties and will help relax eyes and lessen redness of the eyes. Apply cucumber water or thin slices to the skin around the eyes particularly if this skin is looking dry. Allowing the slices on the skin for at least fifteen minutes while relaxing will make your eyes look refreshed.

  • Dried Agrimony leaves and flowers are added to boiled water, after which the mixture is strained and used to bathe the eyes, to reduce swelling and itchy eyes. People who spend more time working in front of a computer experience itchy or burning eyes, they will also benefit from this remedy.

  • Use a few drops of honey, ghee or sesame oil in the eyes.

  • Boil 1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds in one cup of water until it has condensed to half. Cool and use as eye drops.
