Natural Remedies to Get Rid of Eye Bags

Eye bags are caused due to the accumulation of fat. These bothersome problems make you look terrible and make you look older than your actual age. There are numerous natural remedies that can help you get rid of those loathsome under eye bags.

  • Sufficient sleep must be the first step in your home remedy for bags under eyes. It is good if you take proper sleep of eight hours, which is very effective in avoiding the eyes bags. Other factors that may also contribute to these bags under the eyes include stress, illness, and fatigue.

  • Close you eyes and place the cucumber slices on the eyes. Leave them there for about 10 to 15 minutes. This helps to lessen the swelling.

  • You can also use tea bags on the eyes for a few minutes. The idea is to reduce swelling and water retention.

  • Make slices of the potato. Spray a little water on the eyes and then apply the potato slices directly on the eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove and dry off skin.

  • One more home remedy for eye bags is to take both cucumber and potato peelings and place them together in a little water. Then take some cotton, wet them in the solution, and place those on your eyes for about 10-15 minutes.

  • Put two thin lemon slices directly onto your eye bags or circles. Do not close your eyes tightly but be careful not to open. After 20 minutes, carefully rinse off with cold water.

  • Soak two slices of cucumber in lemon juice for 3-5 minutes. To help get rid of dark circles and puffiness place these cucumber slices on your eyes for about 10-15 minutes.

  • It is also essential to avoid the alcoholic beverages and increase the amount of water, as excess alcohols can dry your skin and intake of less water can because you eye bags.

  • Add a few drops of lavender oil to cold water. Use this as a cold compress on your eyes. Soak the cotton eye-pads in this water and place these pads on your eyes to bring down the swelling.

  • Chilled rose water is not just revitalizing but it is also really comforting and relaxing for your eyes as well. Place a cotton wool into the rose water for a few minutes and soak them wet and place them over your eyes for a while. Doing this would care for your eyes in the best way possible. As rose water contains minerals and vitamins, which would caress your eyes and regions around it. Continuous application of this treatment would surely help you get rid of your eye bags quickly.
