Orange Facemask

There are various facemasks available in the market. However, the homemade facemasks prove to be beneficial because they contain natural ingredients in them.

Those who are uncomfortable about using cosmetic masks available in the market, try using natural beauty packs made at home.

An orange facemask can be ideal for all skin types. Oranges are rich in vitamin C, zinc and antioxidants, which make this face mask perfect for acne treatment. Orange facemask absorbs the oils from the open pores in your skin. In this manner, it helps to reduce the oily shine that is visible on the face due to excess oil. It also helps to slough off the dead and dry skin cells from the surface, making the face look brighter and cleaner.

How to prepare an orange facemask:

1. Orange peel face mask
Ingredients:

  • Orange peel powder
  • Milk or water

Peel oranges and keep the peels out in sunlight to dry until they become hard. Once the peels become hard, put them in a mixer and grind to a fine powder. Mix the orange peel powder with milk or water. Use both orange peel powder and milk in equal quantity. Blend the mixture until it becomes a smooth paste. Put on the paste on your face and allow it for around 30 minutes until it dries completely. Wash off the facemask with water after the specific period. Ensure that you do not scrub the face hard while washing off as this might do considerable damage to the skin.

The orange facemask helps to reveal a cool, glowing and blemish free skin that shines without being oily. It helps to remove the tan, brighten your skin and balance the skin tone, giving you a younger and radiant look

2. Orange facemask:

  • Egg yolk/honey

Crush the orange into a pulp. Add one egg yolk to the pulp and mix well. Place this mixture on moist skin for 15 minutes and then rinse off. This mask is ideal for oily skin. In place of egg, alternatively honey can also be used. This facemask not only activates the dead cells in the inner layers of skin but also improves the glow on the face. It has been recommended by the beauty experts to use this mask minimum once in a week. With regular use, it could also reduce skin disorders if any.
