Deal With Rosacea

A little rosy glow on the cheeks can be attractive but permanent redness is less so. The risk of blotchy skin or rosacea may be lurking and you need to watch out for it. Happily, there are treatments thet can deal with the condition and return your skin to a youthful radiance.

Handle with care
It starts with a redness that comes to your cheeks at the slightest hint of emotion. Going bright red is an early sign of rosacea. Broken capilaries become fragile due to a sluggish movement in the veins of your face and if you don't do something about it, the vessels may burst, leaving your cheeks permanently red. This condition is rosacea and it can affect the network of blood vessels in your outer layer of skin.
You need to limit the loss of water from the epidermis and reinforce the elasticity of the capilaries.

Combat redness
You should cleanse with gentle products. Creamy cleansers or milky make-up removers are recommended.
Avoid water that is too warm and try sprays of mineral water instead. Always dry your skin carefully.
Protect your cheeks with creams that combat redness. Most effective in the long terms are those containing plant extracts - ivy, vine, gingko biloba and horse chestnut. These plants strengthen the venous walls and improve blood circulation. Massage a small amount of cream into your face, morning and night, using a gentle circular motion.
