Hand Skin Care

Skin care is an important component of hand hygiene. Hands speak a lot about you. Beautiful hands make your personality much more impressive.

Hands are often the most neglected areas, yet the way they look gives our inner secrets away. Hand skin care is very important. Care for them are a sign that the rest of our body is well looked after too. As said that hands reduce a women's age by several years.

You can take care of the skin of your hand:

  • By moisturizing your hands as many times as you, can in a day.
  • Protect the skin on your hands from the sun.
  • Wear gloves while washing dishes and while gardening.
  • Use hand sanitizers, which help to kill the germs, present on the hand. Purell hand sanitizer is an anti-bacterial rinse.

Hand Care Tips:
Hand cream is necessary to have for your hands. Always keep it in the bathroom, the bedroom and the kitchen. Take care of your nails too. This starts with drinking enough water and eating a healthy diet.
Take care that you never cut your cuticles. Keep them drying out by using a good hand cream and hand soaks, then push them gently back with a cuticle/orange stick. Once you do this, if you notice any white residue, you can gently rub the area to remove this, but no cutting.
When you do cut your nails or hang nails, make sure the clippers and other tools are very sharp so that they do not tear as you trim. Always trim neat and clean, not too deep. Once you get them cut, try filing weekly instead of cutting. Use the file in one direction to avoid splitting and use a good quality file. If you maintain your nails this way you may not have cut them. Use gentle hand treatment to soften your skin and your cuticles.
