Tips for Healthy and Beautiful Skin

Most of us desire to have a healthy and shining skin. Following are the tips, which help to provide you a healthy and beautiful skin.

  • Drink plenty of water. Water is considered the most effective natural treatment for any type of skin condition. It flushes out the toxins from our body. It also helps to prevent dehydration. It is recommended by doctors and nutritionists to drink atleast six to eight glasses of water per day.

  • Nutritious diet is important for skin health. Acidic foods and dairy products are responsible to cause an allergic reaction in some people. Chocolates can affect the condition of the skin. The best advice is to consume the nutritious diet that includes fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables as well as fibre containing food.

  • Exfoliation is the best way to attain beautiful skin. Look out for a good body exfoliant, which is capable of eliminating the dead skin cells from your body. One must exfoliate at least once or twice the week, so as to help the skin to breath freely. Avoid using any body exfoliant on the skin of face, as the facial tissue is more sensitive and finer than the tissues of the body.

  • For a facial skin care, a healthy beauty routine is extremely necessary. Nowadays, doctors suggest to cleanse, moisturize and tone your skin twice daily. It is also necessary to clean the area on the neck while cleaning, which should be followed by a moisturizer or neck cream. Always remove the makeup before going to bed at night. Make it a habit to clean your face at night. Studies show that during night, skin goes through a process of elimination and is unable to breathe as it is clogged with makeup. Also, note that if you sleep with make up on; it will cause your skin to break out with spots on it.

  • Feet care is an essential part of skin care. If you do not find time for a professional pedicure, then you can perform it at home. Soak your feet in a tub containing warm water added with essential oils for about fifteen minutes. Then dry your feet and apply a skin remover onto them. Further, wash it off and dry your feet well.

  • Avoid too much of exposure to sun, as overexposure of sunlight causes sunburn. Whenever you go outdoors, it is recommended to wear a sunscreen. If possible, wear a wide brimmed hat to keep the sun from your face.

  • Exercising your body also helps keep your skin healthy. The exercise not only helps to keep the body in shape by regulating the oxygen; but it also enhances the glow of the skin.

  • Rest is helpful for face. Stress is one common problem faced by people. Studies show that when a person is stressed the adrenal cortex converts adrenal androgens to the hormone testosterone in male and female, which in turn results in overactive sebaceous glands. Double amount of testosterone is caused due to the release of adrenal androgens, which causes the face to be oily while other areas of the body are still dry from dehydration. Therefore taking proper rest that includes six to eight hours of undisturbed sleep daily is the best way to rejuvenate the skin.
