Treatment for skin moles
If your mole is found to be dangerous then is should be removed entirely. You should have to remove the entire mole and a margin of normal tissue around it. Normally a mole that has been removed won't reappear, if it does, see your doctor promptly.

Most of the moles are normal and doesn't need to be treated. But for cosmetic reasons, a mole can be removed in several ways and take only a short time:

  • Punch biopsy: In this method, your doctor may remove a mole with a small incision or punch biopsy technique, which uses a small cookie-cutter-like device.
  • Excision surgery: Your doctor cuts out the mole and a surrounding margin of healthy skin.
  • Shave excision: Your doctor numbs the area around a mole and then uses a small blade to shave off the mole close to your skin.
